The book of Revelation begins with John's assertion that Jesus revealed to him the things that "must soon take place" (1:1). In the last chapter, John records the threefold promise of Jesus, "Look, I'm coming soon" (22:7, 12) and "Yes, I am coming soon" (v. 20). Yet, almost 2,000 years later, we are still waiting for the second coming of Jesus. So what happened, and how soon is "soon"? That's the question in this week's article.
