Israel's Wars Against Hazor and Jabin

We read in the Old Testament that Israel twice fought against Canaanite Hazor and killed its King Jabin. In Joshua 11, Joshua's army defeated a coalition of Canaanite kingdoms under the leadership of the ruler of Hazor. He then destroyed and burned the town, killing its King Jabin. In Judges 4, 150 years later, Deborah and Barak also fought and defeated a Canaanite coalition, killed its commander Sisera, and subdued a King Jabin. Confused? How could Israel kill King Jabin twice? Find out in this week's article.
