Divine Anger in Scripture

The idea of God's anger, especially in the Old Testament, is far from being an infrequent topic. In fact, the God of the Old Testament sometimes seems to become angry more often than do humans! Lest we think that God has an "anger problem," we need to look carefully at a phrase that occurs nine times in the Old Testament. That phrase is "slow to anger."
