The Importance of the Resurrection
None of Paul's teachings is more important than his teaching on the resurrection of Jesus Christ. In fact, Paul states that without Jesus' resurrection, belief in the Christian faith is in "vain" (1 Cor. 15:2) and Christians themselves are a "people most to be pitied" (v. 19). Two places where he develops his understanding best is in 1 Corinthians 15 and Romans 6:1-15. Let's look at "The Importance of the Resurrection for Paul" in this week's article.
